Adjust handle stop on Metro high arc

I just installed this faucet and the handle hits the backsplash when I push the handle back for hot water. How do I adjust to bring the handle forward? I took the handle off and see some plastic adjustment but cannot seem to rotate it. Help!

The Metro Higharc does have a green ring on the cartridge to limit the amount of hot water that can pass through the faucet. You can adjust this green ring to limit the handle swing but it will limit the amount of hot water you can get form the faucet. To adjust the green ring you will need to first remove the handle then you can remove the screw from the cartridge stem. Then the green ring will slide up over the stem so you can turn it to a more limited position. You should be able to see +/- marks on the ring that will help indicate where and how much you are adjusting. Is it possible that you have installed the faucet incorrectly . Loosen it off and turn 90 degrees facing you so that one way is cold the other way hot.

Remove handle and adjust the rotational limit stop. As you move the rotational limit stop counter clockwise it will increase more hot water in the mix.
Remember where it is before starting and pull in back onto shaft out of place so you can move it a little and put back into place. It should have marks to line up to get you different setting's. Just put handle on and turn on and check for desired hot setting.

The only way to adjust this is to pull it out of place due to it fitting in place like a gear and reinsert and check water.

Moen T910 Kingsley two handle, whirlpool tub faucet. The hot water handle only puts out lukewarm water. The water heater is turned up and all the other faucets in the house put out scalding hot water.

if you remove the hot water handle on the faucet you can adjust the stop. if it is a newer faucet it has a built in scold guard. the directions should tell you which direction to move the stop to get hotter water

Not enough hot water, has to do with a shower valve

Hello, first if any water supply hot or cold is turned off, you will experience trickling as you mention. You must have both cold and hot in order to adjust the temperature on your valve. if you had a plumber intall this unit you should ask him to adjust it. Otherwise here is how:
Rotate the handle counterclockwise to stop and let water run till cold water is purged, check
temperature. Rotate handle to off, remove handle parts (see Disassembly in your manual) and temperature limit stop, rotate clockwise to decrease and counterclockwise to increase maximum hot water temperature, reinstall temperature limit stop and handle (TIP: Do not screw handle in until desired maximum temperature is achieved) Repeat steps until desired maximum
    temperature is achieved

Most likely you need to adjust the hot limit safety stop which restricts handle swing to limit the high temp of the water and avoid scalding... check out this link to the install manual for your faucet. Also includes detailed diagram of cartridge alignment just in case you need it.

    Hope this helps, Tripp
