Question about Averatec 3200 Notebook
Now I know that a similar question about replacing the drive has been asked (and I know I will use it), but can anyone confirm that the Averatec 3200 series hard drive is simply the standard 2.5" notebook drive that I can purchase at Newegg or any other pc supplier? I will be sure to take photos of my process and post them on FixYa (assuming I'm successful) If any one has any big tips in replacing the hard drive, I'd appreciate them.
I have a tip. Don't forget to set up the drive as master or slave (depending on what you want the drive for). I personally have forgotten to double check this on numerous occasions (its always the simplest thing you overlook with everything) only relizing when I have the case screwed back on and am trying to boot the drive up.
