If your home or office printer is part of a network, meaning it is connected to a networked computer or router, then it will have a TCP/IP address identifying it on the network. This address can be used to share the printer with new users on the network, or to get ink and paper levels on your computer. This address can be found whether using a simple printer, or a printer/scanner combo machine such as the HP Officejet 5610, which will be used as an example here. M/F Click your PC's "Start" button and choose "Control Panel."
M/F Choose "Printers and Faxes." Left-click "HP Officejet 5610" and choose "Properties."
M/F Click "Ports" then drag the divider between the first and second columns to the right to display further information about your printer, including the TCP/IP address.
M/F Open the "Applications" menu and choose "System Preferences."
M/F Click "Printers."
M/F Choose "HP Officejet 5610" and click "Options and Supplies." All network information for the printer will be displayed.

SOURCE: dismantle and remove battery officejet 5610

It would be extremely difficult to disassemble the printer, and the battery is usually not replaceable. Why did you want to replace it anyway? It should last the life of the printer.

SOURCE: Howdo I find my HP Officejet 5610 all-in-one

You won't be able to get an IP address for the printer. The unit is not network capable - it's USB only. An IP address identifies the printer on the network.

Computer has a different ip address than my hp 8600 printer and says it is offline when it isn't

This should work (assuming that you are using Windows Vista or newer):
Remove the printer from Windows (in Control Panel, Printers And Devices right-click and choose "Remove)"
Then choose Add Printer and follow the wizard and it should find your wireless printer automatically.
Please let me know if this doesn't work.

Hp officejet 7210. When router resets, I loose my printer connection.

IS this printer wired LAN to your router? If so, look in the settings to your printer and check the IP address.

Now in the settings menu, it should have an option for you to set DLNA or manual. Set to manual. Enter the same IP address the machine originally had. If you could not find what ip address your printer had, in windows startmenu find run or command prompt and type ipconfig all.

Find the ip address for your computer. Add 10 to it. For example, if it is 192.168.0.2 than give your printer 192.168.0.12 If it asks for a subnet mask use 255.255.255.0

I believe the problem you are having is that every time your router resets it gives your printer a different ip address (dynamic IP), so your printer driver software can no longer find it. You need to use a static ip address (manually giving the printer an ip address) so it never changes and the driver can always find it.

Wireless printer not printing

Check if you are able to open the printer web page (EWS) on the computer.
you can check it by obtaining the printer ip address from setup-- network setup---print network configuration page. (Inn case of HPprinter)
suppose the ip is 192.168.1.100 , then open a new window of internet explorer and open the address as http:\\192.168.1.100 and see, if it is displaying the printer information
If yes, then open the printers window from control panel on computer.
Right click on your printer icon which has a check mark and select properties.
click on ports tab and click on addport button , selct the port as standard tcp\ip port and click on new port .
enter the ip address and finish this wizard, you will be back on ports tab .
now, right click on the printer icon and select use printer online.
