SOURCE: LG LH2000 turns off everyday at 10am.

I called LG and I have a technician coming over for this exact issue. Model 55LD650. But my unit is mounted pretty high up on a wall, do I need to take it down for the technician to work his magic on the "engineering settings". Any tips on what exactly I should tell him to save both of us time? Thanks!

I have a Simply Perfect For The Home brand Microwave Oven that I bought from the U.S. Military post here in Schweinfurt, Germany for $50 I live on the economy in my own apartment. The microwave is a 120...

Just as a NOTE: When I bought my Panasonic microwave from AAFES, before I took it home, they sent it through their maintenance department to adjust the internal voltage. Power for the US is 60 HZ. Power in Europe is 50 HZ. Long Technical Explanation shortened: there's more energy (Heat) in 50 Hz than 60HZ especially when used in anything that uses high power. AAFES adjusted the internal power down to compensate and keep from blowing up the unit. Look for a fuse inside. Replace it, then ask AAFES to reconfigure the product for lower power or 50Hz.
Also as a note, many, dare I say most, clocks from the US count the HZ to count time. So if your US clock, say on your coffeepot timer, looses time overseas; it's probably losing 4 hours a day (do the math: 50 hz/60hz=83.333_%. 83.3_%*24 hr=20 hrs or 4 hours lost). So, if your time is set for 7AM coffee start, when you get that cup of coffee at 7:10AM, set your clock forward to 11:10 AM; or at 7PM, make sure it actually says 9PM. It will loose enough time by the next 7AM to be correct.

I need to know how to set the "Sentry" time that came with the house I've bought. Thanks. James

1) It sounds like you have the EJ351.
Intermatic EJ351 is sometimes sold as Sentry

2) Open following link for the manual:
https://www.gpspool.com/customer/geposp/additionalinfo/OWNER%20MANUALS/Intermatic/IO%20-INT-%20EJ351-EJ353%20Wall%20Switch%20Timer%20Installation.pdf

3) Add a comment if this is not your timer, and say more detail about the timer.
I have extensive files on timers and might be able to find same-similar product.

HI, got a problem to start intermatic hb88rc , wont strat after programing

Let's do a checklist:
> The battery has to be installed before you program timer, so that is good.
> Press Mode button and it over-rides current program ... so mode button acts as the manual override. Try manual override and see if Load comes on.
> The manual override is the real test. Plug something else into timer and use the manual override to see if timer is able to complete a circuit.
> If manual override works then your programming is suspect. (see more below)
> If manual override does not work then electric circuit is off, or timer is bad.
> After using manual override, press clock to return to current time
> Make sure Mode is not set to random
> The clock must be keeping correct time, or you would have mentioned it
> Check that the electrical plug has power.
> Check that the Load (light, fan) operates fine without the timer.

Programming problems:
> The timer program calls for ON time and OFF time for each program. If the ON time was skipped, then timer will not turn ON.
> If there is a conflict in programming, the timer will not operate as expected. For example program1 says ON at 7 and OFF at 8, but program2 says the opposite.
> Another example is when the AMs and PMs are mixed. For example you want ON at 7am TU and OFF at 7PM TU. But the timer was set for ON at 7am and Off at 7am.
> When programming, write out a schedule so there are no conflicts.
> The ON and OFF functions should follow the same days. For example ON is set for 7am TU but Off is set for ALL week.

My tv turns on everyday to channel 52 at 7pm and I've never programmed it to do that. Why?

Press menu and look in time sub menu. This TV has an on timer available. Try to turn it off in menu.

LG LH2000 turns off everyday at 10am. Nothing to do with timers/eco settings and have had power board totally replaced and software upgrades but problem still remains.

This is because the TV Set has a 2 hour sleep timer built in, and is activated when no channel or volume has been changed. You need to call LG, who will come over and get to the 'engineer settings' to disable. We have 5 TV screens coming on at 8am and off at 10pm but they kept turning off on their own at 10am.
All solved now.
