Hi i have one virus in my computer and he block my system and now i want to know if i can format my computer from command prompt but i type format c: and the computer tell me something about parttion can...

Why oo you want to format the C drive, you would not be able to do that. Why dont you try installing some antivirus and try to fix the virus.

In case you still want to format the hard drive and in the process remove the OS, you would need a bootable cd / DVD for the OS. You would need to start the process of re-installing the OS

First change the first boot device in the bios DVD, then insert the bootable CD in the CD Drive, restart the computer and follow the screen instructions, you would get an option to select new installation or repair the existing installation. Please select new install.

Then you would get he option to select the partition to install the OS. select the desired partition.

Then you would get the option to format the selected partition. select the disered option.

and follow the screen instruction an complete the installation.

Which type of OS are u using? if it is windows OS i'll advice u 2 do system restore with ur installation CD in GUI mode& nt in DOS mode, from there ask u 2 select the preffered language of ur choice.

or

The only control you have in your OS is to change the language options in the "regional settings". This will allow you some limited language support.

Here is how to access this setting in Windows. Click Start,Control Panel, then on Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options, and then click Regional and Language Options.

Or LAST Option

Just Buy a English Version OS!!

its going to need to be reinstalled, if you don't have a cd drive you should take the laptop to your dealer if they can do the reinstall or a local professional who surely can do it.

LG E500 Notebook cant load OS

hi,
when you install the new os there are usually two options

1) to install a new os formating the partition ( which distroys all data on the partition)

2) install the os on existing partition without formating the parttion, i think you are choosing this option in order to avoid the above written error in this option choose use the directory other then already present
like if earlier directory was
c:\windows
put in
c:\windows_new_date

so that it don't have to rewrite the files in the same directory and the files are loaded onto a new directory
and when it will be installed it will give you the option to select the installtion you want to boot from.
