Question about Husqvarna Variable Speed Self Propelled Lawn Mower

Open Question

Blades keep bending

We bought a husqvarna push mower last summer and never had problems with it. Then this summer after prepping the mower and mowing for about 20 minutes, the blade bent. We weren't sure what caused it so we just bought a replacement blade. Then the same thing happened to the new blade when hitting a SMALL patch of dirt, we bought a better blade and mowed for about 30 mins and it bent AGAIN on a SMALL patch of dirt! What could be causing this? The patches of dirt are the size of an ant hill and should not be bending a blade.

My Husqvarna LGT 2554 deck hung up on high spot mowing. Turned off deck & mower pushed by hand. Engaged deck, started to mow, wound to stop. Belts fine. Pull up on knob to engage, you get nothing.

The engine runs but the blades do not engage? Make sure the wire connecting the electric clutch is still plugged in. If all is connected and the belt is really fine, there is a problem with either the electric clutch or PTO switch.

Husqvarna lgt24k54 keeps turning off

Interesting! Try seeing if it will run without the fuel tank cap on. There is normally a small hole to let air in as fuel is used, if this gets blocked the fuel will stop running from the tank. You probably won't be able to clean it well enough so a replacement cap shouldn't be too expensive.

Husqvarna 6021p won't start

Make sure spark plug wire is connected and that plug is not blackened and fouled out. Also check your fuel filter (plugged?), the handbar safety lever & it pull cable and make sure it is opening the breather assembly down at the motor or closing the proper switch (unsure of the setup) Those are typically the most common problems. Good Luck

Husqvarna clogging problems

make sure your deck is scrapped out after every 8-10 mows, make sure your blades are sharp. I'm assuming you have a bagging system. Make sure you have the correct blades on your mower. Blades need to have a high wing in order to push the debris out correctly and make sure there are no other obstructions in shoot and always run engine at high rpm.

Deck will not shed the grass . the grass has to be cleaned after each mowing, lawn is not mowed when wet,

The only way to shred the grass while mowing is to have a pair of mulching blades on your mower, they work, but they wear out fast. They do in Florida anyway with all the sand. And don't for the grass to look a hayfield to mow it. You have to keep at it. Hope this helps.

The carb on my mdf lawnmower is flooding is there adj on this type of carb it is 15 years old and has not been run untill this summer , now it does not stay running

I am unsure if this will fix your problem, but I have a MDF riding mower. Last Summer I installed a 1/4 turn shut off valve in the gas line. I keep it off until I want to use the mower, then only open it 1/8th turn. When I'm done mowing, I turn it all the way off and let the mower die so I know the line is empty from it on down. Hope that helps.

Leaving streaks of grass in middle of mower

Your forward speed may be too fast for the mower blades to cut every blade of grass. It may be new, but check the deck to see if there are any dents pushing the quill assemblies up making the deck cut uneven. Or it may have the wrong blades on it.
I have seen this problem in the past with a Gravely mower. The person was trying to cut grass to fast. He sold the unit and the new onwer did not noticed any the problems the old owner described.

48 inch deck problems

a lot of problems here.try this.[grass buildup]. usually cause by damp grass or blades not going fast enough to throw into box.engine cutout is then caused by grass jamming blade[s]. backfire is usually too much choke or wrong petrol/air bent grass.try cutting driving in reverse[if strip is wide cos of back tyre then blade is uneven.]
