Trip B is one of two odometer readings. there is trip A and trip B. you can keep 2 different mileage records on your car. some people use one of the two for mileage for records for taxes or oil changes ect. All the Trip A or B is, is a mileage that you can Zero. your car just has 2 of them.

Why does a red light come up on the dash board saying a transmission malfunction on my focus 08

The light is on because something has malfunctioned in the transmission system, this can be a sensor or wiring or the transmission has a mechanical fault. The next step is to have a scanner hooked up and read the fault code that was set in the control modules memory when it turned on the warning light. This may require a trip to the local dealer.

Using Google-- is how you look up OBD Codes

Problems & some solutions

Type:OBD PO102

Codes DO NOT mean you replace parts

They have nothing to do with parts
UNTIL the vehicle is properly diagnosed
& a PROBLEM IS FOUND
