Where is the reset button on the toshiba Satellie M115-3104

Most laptops don't really have a laptop button, so to reset the system you either have to hold the power button until the system powers off, or unplug the system and let it die.

Reset bios password of HP omnibook xe4100

If you don't know the password on the BIOS of your laptop, then it's likely that you won't be able to reset it. That's a down-side about putting BIOS passwords on a laptop. Some of the laptops were made with a reset button on the bottom of the computer. If your computer has it, it will look like the usual hole for a reset button. If you find a reset button on your laptop, then you are fortunate - just don't stick anything in the hole that will conduct electricity. If your laptop doesn't have a reset button hole, then about the only other way to reset\remove the password is to find someone who has schematics of that particular motherboard and is able to replace the BIOS chip. This is likely to cost you alot of money - probably more than the computer is worth.

Can't find reset button

Laptops don't normally have a reset button. If the machine won't shut down, you can hold the power button for 5 seconds or more to switch off. If this doesn't work, unplug the charger cord and remove the battery from the laptop.

This is not normally recommended, Windows should be shut down if possible.

I need the location of the master reset button on a hp probook 4510s

Hmmmm, what do you mean by the master reset button and what do you intend to accomplish by pushing such a button. If you're wanting to "reset" your operating system, then you will need to use your recovery partition if you have one, or the recovery discs if they came with your laptop. To my knowledge there isn't a master reset button on your laptop; other than the power button.

Where is the reset button on a toshiba laptop

There isn't one. Notebooks never have reset buttons, newer desktop's neither. If you want to reboot, (cold boot) jsut hold the on/off button for 5-6 seconds. If you release it too early it will hibernate. Press the button firmly for 5-6 seconds.

Where is the reset button in this product? The first thing the manual tells us to do is to put batteries & reset the machine by pressing the ''reset'' button. I have studied the buttons some 10 times but...

On the back of the viewsonic tablet pc or at least on the V1100 the is a small pinhole type openining. Here you may need something as small as a needle to depress the button. It is located 3/4ths of the way down on the back of the pc.

Where is the reset button at on a laptop

A reset button, usually found on desktops, is simply a momentary non-contact switch which turns the system off and immediately on again.

On a laptop, the on switch, held down for about 10 seconds, accomplishes the same function.
