If you are referring to the System Restore/Recovery procedure, you can find the info in the User Manual: http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/UL50Vt/#support_Download

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Battery light is on when its not charging. How do I get rid of the lightning strike on the battery. It's not even plugged in to the AC?

You may have information in temporary memory that has not cleared for some reason. Try a hard reset.
The hard reset will not delete saved files on the hard drive.
To perform a hard reset, follow the steps below.
* Unplug the AC adapter from the notebook PC and remove from any port replicator or docking station.
* Remove the battery from the notebook battery compartment.
* Press and hold down the power button for about 20 seconds.
NOTE: Holding down the power button while the computer is turned off drains any residual charge in the capacitors.
* Insert the batteIry and plug the AC adapter back into the notebook PC.
*Press the power button to turn the notebook PC back on.
Good luck!

I think you just need to press the power button for a while until your notebook shutsdown, then press it again to turn it on.There is no reset button.

My asus laptop wont power up , the green light flash for about 3 seconds and thats it

This might do the trick:
  1. Remove the AC adapter, Battery and all other power sources
  2. Press the power button for 20 a 30 seconds. (Bios is now resetted)
  3. Put everything back in and try to boot;).
