Question about Sanyo DS20425 20" TV
When I try and use my hdmi cords for my xbox on my tv it doesnt work. It has ports on the back that is clearly labeled component 2 but when I go to component 2 it shows a fuzzy static screen of the image thats supposed to be there but then goes to the blue screen, and the letters in the top right that say component 2 vibrate and theres a buzzing noise. This all repeats every time I go to a different channel and then back to component 2
The best option is to try a different component cable and inspect both ports for any wear.
Alternatively, try the same cable on another TV if you have one near by.

SOURCE: cant change channels
Your in the video mode so you have to change the input. On the original remote, its the button left of the power button. A universal may not work for this. If you need the original remote, Its available at http://www.remotes.com Good Luck

SOURCE: sanyo tv ds25390 buzzing sound
I had the same problem with the same model.
The solution was to replace a capacitor, C622, which is located near
a small blue rectangular plastic component.
This component is a relay that is controlled by C622. I paid $2.39 for
the part, $8.99 for S&H for a total of $11.38. This fixed my problem!

If you can program a Comcast remote or another universal remote that has an info key, you can get rid of it. I just succeeded in programming my comcast remote thanks to Dave Taylor:
Once the remote is programmed, hit the "info" button and watch your frustration disappear!

Using the tv remote (or selecting TV button on cable universal remote) hit the INFO button. It remove the channel # for me. I might have a different model.
