Question about Dual Electronics XD1222 Car USB Player
I'm installing a Dual XD1222 CD player into a 1999 Corolla. I bought a wiring harness and connected all wires as directed, but after plugging the unit in it doesn't turn on. Any ideas?
There may be differences between the color coding of the adapter wires and the color coding of the vehicle. Check to determine whether the wires were functionally matched, not just matched by color. Check for missing or poor connections

Basically the radio will fit but since harness differs between some chrysler products, you need to find the pigtail that will fit the Dodge harness and give bare wires to connect the Dual's respective wires. An example of this can be seen at http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/2669860/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046
I have found similar pigtails at Walmart, Best Buy, and some autoparts stores. Crutchfield includes all this based on your purchase - just a thought.
