I purchased the my software business pack to generate business cards. Once I create the card the program will not let me view or print a final product. Every time I try the computer states "program not...

This could be anything. Try removing the program and reinstalling it (save your card creations in a temp folder to paste back into the program's directory once it's reinstalled). Determine the software's minimum hardware requirements and see if your system is up to the task. Reinstall or update all the hardware drivers. Reinstall your operating system.

When i bought the unit I had a desktop running on Windows XP. Now I have Woindows 7. How can get a software upgrade to be able to download my data?

Did you upgrade from Xp to Vista first ?

First, you will want to BACKUP ALL of your programs.

Since you did not upgrade to VISTA, you will LOOSE all of your programs when you upgrade to Windows 7, so be sure to backup all of your programs and files.

If you wish, you can use an external hard drive and a program called WINDOWS EASY TRANSFER to make this task easier.

See the link below for this FREE program.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2b6f1631-973a-45c7-a4ec-4928fa173266&DisplayLang=en

Now, for the fun part! Insert the Windows 7 disc into the computer and start or restart the computer.

Follow the onscreen instructions to completely install Windows 7.

You will now need to reinstall each of your programs.

If you used Windows Easy Transfer, you can use the list of programs that it prints out to be certain that you reinstall all of your programs.

Hope this helps.

I am missing some files and can not uninstall program to reinstall. I go to add and remove programs. I am trying to reinstall the program but it tells me I already have installed it

Try going to the program's directory and run the uninstall from there. Your program is likely at c:\program files\<program> where <program> is the name of the program or the manufacturer of the program. Try executing the file 'uninstall'. It might do better.
If it doesn't work any better than add/remove programs, you may have to become a bit more creative.

How do you uninstall a program from a palm treo 750?

You need activesync
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/microsoft/activesync-download.mspx

ActiveSync’s Tools >Add/Remove Programs screen lists all the programs that have been installed on your device. To uninstall a program, uncheck the box next to it and click on OK. To reinstall a program, click on the empty box next to it and click on OK. Do not click on the Remove button. Here's how to do it: If you used ActiveSync to install a third-party program to your Windows Mobile device, you can uninstall the program quickly from your PC.
  1. Make sure your Windows Mobile device is connected to your PC and ActiveSync is running.
  2. From the PC’s ActiveSync Window, click on Tools >Add/Remove Programs. This opens the “Add/Remove Programs” dialog box, which displays a list of third-party programs you have installed on your device.
  3. To uninstall any of the checked programs, click on the box to uncheck it and hit OK—ActiveSync will do the rest.

Reinstalling programs you’ve uninstalled Once you’ve installed a program using ActiveSync, the necessary installation files are saved on your PC. If you uninstall the program as described above, you can use the Add/Remove Programs menu to reinstall it at a later time. Uninstalled programs appear in the Add/Remove Programs list as items with unchecked boxes. To reinstall it, click on the check box next to it and hit OK. ActiveSync will reinstall the program automatically. Note that files in CAB format can be downloaded directly to a device and installed, so they will not appear in the Add/Remove Programs list. In addition, some freeware programs are installed by using ActiveSync’s Explorer to copy the program file to your device. Those also do not appear in the Add/Remove list. WARNING: Do not click on the “Remove” button at the bottom of the Add/Remove Programs screen unless you never again plan on using the program. This completely removes the necessary installation files from your PC and you won’t be able to reinstall the program by checking the box.

Cannot reinstall software

Sounds like a registry issue, caused by having removed some of the program. Which is probably why the software will not reinstall, You will have to totally uninstall the remaining program, including remnants of registry. Revo uninstaller is usually the best choice, which is a free program, and very effective. Afterwards, restart computer, and reinstall software.
