SOURCE: The wheel size chart in the instruction manual

It's in the manual. Measure the wheel size and enter it manually.

There's a picture of how to determine the circumference by rolling the wheel one revolution and measuring it. Be as accurate as you can (to the mm).

4. Wheel size BIKE 1

• Press MODE to change to BIKE 1.

• Press SET briefly and the first digit flashes.

• Set the value by pressing RESET, change to the next digit by pressing MODE.
• Bike 1 is always the bike with the handlebar holder WS 1

How to set time on my echo-7 cyclo computer, this is the older type echo-7 not f7, and it has 1 function button colored yellow at the bottom and you access all ..odo dst rt clk ..etc.

Hi, I got the same cyclo computer. Put the cyclo with the yellow button on the clock (CLK). Press shortly the reset button on the backside. The hour digit starts to flash. You can adjust the hour by shortly pressing the yellow button. If you want to switch to minutes hold the yellow button until the minutes starts to flash. When done press again shortly the reset button on the backside. When pressing the reset button the cyclo will start at zero seconds.

Go back to where you bought it and see if they have an extra set of directions. If, they don't maybe they can call the manufacturer of Echo. Or you neighborhood bike shop mechanic may know the numbers for your wheel size.

HI.... WOULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO RESET P/M ON PANASONIC COPIER 7728 . I DONT KNOW HOW TO ACCES THE SERVICE PROGRAM..... THANK YOU .

just press "user preset" "original size A3" and "3" simultaneously to enter service mode and the display will be "F1"

to reset the p/m, you should change the value of F7-c22 and F7-c26

go to F7 mode(press 7 to move to F7, then press start)
press "2" "2", then start
press "0" to reset the value of F7-c22, then press start
now press "2" "6", then start
press "120000" to reset the value of F7-c26 (this counter is countdown so it starts with highest count)
press start
press stop to exit F7 mode
press "user preset" and "stop" simultaneously to exit service mode

that's it

Has anybody configured Reliance Datacard - USB on ubuntu 9.04? Kindly give me step by step procedure for configuration? Regards, Moiz

Hi,

First use the following command to see if your card is being detected by kernel.

cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

Then you can use the following script for the installation, you can check if this is for your version of Ubuntu.

#!/bin/bash

#This program automates task of setting up connection for Reliance USB Card on Ubuntu Hardy Heron. This program does not come with any warranty whatsoever. Please use it at your own risk.

# Detect Modem
echo "Modem Detected: $(lsusb | grep -i huawei | cut -d" " -f7-)"

# Get Connection Number from User
echo "Enter Your Reliance Data Card Connection Number : "
read connection
echo "Setting up connection with $connection"

#Install Gnome PPP Package
echo "Installing Required Packages.."
sudo apt-get install -y -q gnome-ppp wvdial

#Add entries to /etc/ppp/ppp-secrets and /etc/ppp/chap-secrets
echo "I:Modifying necessary system files to allow dialing with Gnome PPP..."
sudo chmod 666 /etc/ppp/pap-secrets /etc/ppp/chap-secrets
echo "$connection * $connection" >> /etc/ppp/pap-secrets
echo "$connection * $connection" >> /etc/ppp/chap-secrets
sudo chmod 600 /etc/ppp/pap-secrets/etc/ppp/chap-secrets

#Start Gnome PPP
