A common task that arises for BlackBerry users is resetting the Password Keeper on a BlackBerry in the event of either buying a used phone or forgetting your password.<span><br /></span><br /> <span>Instructions</span> <ol> <li><span>Turn on your BlackBerry phone by depressing the "Green Phone" button on the front of the unit.</span></li> <li>Depress the "*/Sym" key followed by the "Green Phone" button to access the "Password Keeper" program.</li> <li>Enter the incorrect password 10 times in Password Keeper. After the 10th incorrect password entry, the Password Keeper program will be reset. You will not be queried to enter a new password after the 10th entry. The phone will reset, and you will lose all contact data on the phone; it will now be wiped clean.</li></ol>
