How do I refit the rubber strip on bottom edge of front bumper that's come adrift ?

Due to the age of the vehicle and the fact that these type of situations usually happen due to physical damage. I would look to a pop riveter with backing washers and a good adhesive, Simply glue it in place, after cleaning both pieces with a solvent such as paint thinner, use tape to hold it in place and then drill it and pop rivet it using backing washers front and back at equal distances for further mechanical strength. Do both ends then the middle and then the middle of those open spaces that are left, depending on the width of the rubber strip you may have to do this again with the remaining undivided spaces.

Tv is wobbly and leans slighty to the right I think i need a new stand

Make sure all the screws on the back holding the stand to the tv are tight.

If you can, lay the tv down gently flat on its back and look at the bottom of the base to see if you are missing any little rubber pads. If you are, just glue something rubber-like of equal size / shape / thickness in its place, or remove the rest of the rubber pads to make it all even.

Good luck and post back how you make out.

Panasonic Toughbook CF-30 Keyboard Replacement

If memory serves, there are four screws that are removed, that hold the keyboard header on. (The strip of plastic under the LCD screen)

Can't recall at the moment, if there are rubber caps, (Covers), over the screw heads. If so, you just ease up one edge of these, with a small flat tip Jewelers screwdriver.

They are held in place by a glue, that's akin to rubber cement. They should stick right back on, if you keep the glue side clean.

(In otherwords, watch how you set them down, in a safe place. Non-glue side up. Good luck trying to keep the little beggars off of your fingertips, or the screwdriver tip. The glue works real well! lol!)

They made a few variations of the keyboard used.
It may have double-sided sticky tape, or it may have flat lock pegs.

For the version with the stick tape, cut it. You peel the rest of the tape off, after you have the keyboard removed. Then apply new double-sided sticky tape, when installing the new keyboard.

For the version with the lock pegs:
Slide the keyboard forward as much as you can. There are four lock pegs, that help secure it in place.
(Flat tabs of plastic. Two on each side of the keyboard)

Now lift up on the end of the keyboard that is nearest to the LCD screen. Don't go crazy, as there is a cable you have to disconnect!

Defective power cord on CHI GF1001 flat iron straightener

My wife's flat iron had an issue with losing power while moving the iron around. I at first thought it was a cord issue, but before tearing into the cord, I disassembled her iron by popping off the two "CHI" covers from either side of the fulcrum. This revealed a screw which when taken out allows you to push the pin out releasing the handle's spring mechanism. Once opened, you can see the power-swivel thing-a-ma-jig and I saw the positive (red) wire had come off of the little flat board mounted on the swivel piece. I simply re-soldered the wire back on to the flat board and BAM! Good as new!
