Question about Cub Cadet Op's Manual Model Lt1042 Lt1045 Lt1046 Lt1050
My battery died. I went to Home Depot and they recommended the battery for 20HP and above. I installed it and it worked.
Then I let the tractor run for 4 minutes and it just died. No lights, nothing. What do I do?
Charge the battery start tractor and check the voltage at battery terminals should min 12volts and rise to about 13.8volts if not charger is RS

If you have access to an electric voltmeter, with it running check voltage at the battery. The engine should charge the battery and maintain system voltage so that the electic PTO will function. The electic PTO will not pull in if system voltage is too low.

when a engine has factory electric start it will have a charging system but it is only a couple amps keep in mind a small mower battery is only good for a couple years
