Power will not stay on

I had a JVC KD-PDR30 radio installed last month. Everything worked fine until a week ago. The radio will not power on or work. If I press eject or the display button the clock comes on with the display button for about 5 seconds then powers off. If I push eject the radio will eject the CD or say no disc if no disk then power off. Help???

-   i am hoaving the exact same problem but i have checked all related fuses like the radio fuse and a couple others but still only coming on for a few seconds if the eject button is pressed.-   primepimp

Sounds like you're not getting voltage on the accessory power lead. This is the red wire at the back of the deck, and it supplies power whenever the key is switched on. It's possible that your vehicle's radio fuse is blown.
