We have 2 Danby air conditioners. One is a Danby Designer, Model DPAC 10060 and the other is a Danby Silhouette Model DPAC 12006. The venting hoses have broken to pieces and we need to buy new ones that...

You can purchase similar hoses at most home improvement center. Take a section of the old hose with you to get the right diameter and use the existing fittings to attach them to the unint and the window exhaust. What you may find is a better quality hose/duct, than what came with the unit. You may have to buy more than you need in length, but then you'll have some left over, if you ever have to replace it again.

Hope this helped. Good luck.

I need to replace a hose on a Danby portable airconditioner model # DPAC120068

The first place to start is with the manufacturer, Danby 800-496-6049. Or take a section of the hose with you and go to your nearest home center and purchase a similar hose (same diameter) and use all the existing fittings that you have, to remount it with the new hose. There are several types available that will work well for this type of application and probably last longer than the original hose did.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Have a Dayton 600,000 BTU and it has a delayed ignition. It fills up with fuel before it lights. When it does light there is a big cloud of smoke. Any suggestions on why it does this.

For that big of unit I would add at least two more pilot lights. Try to position them so they are equal distance from existing pilot. You can buy pilot light assemblies, pilot light tubing, andfitting at most H.V.A.C. supply centers. Hope this helps you. Thanks

The built in power lead in my vacuum hose has a short in it. I need to fix it

Hello peter639,
Since you failed to include brand and/or model number.. I suggest you simply add -on another cord to your existing flex hose. If your existing hose has molded connectors on them that you cannot easily find to match, then you may be better off just buying another hose from the manufacturer.. Your call..

Electrolux Epic 8000

YES,JUST TAKE OFF THE HEPA FILTER.
IF I MAY SUGGEST,IF YOU WANT TO BUY AN AREUS/ELECTROLUX YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK AT THEIR "BOTTOM OF THE LINE" MACHINE, THE "CLASSIC" IT'S HALF THE PRICE AND A MUCH BETTER DESIGN THEN THE NEW "FLAGSHIP" MODEL, WHICH IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN ANY PAST ELECTROLUX. IT'S BULKY,AWKWARD TO USE. EVEN IF YOUR BUYING FROM ANOTHER SOURCE, GO INTO AN AERUS DEALER AND GIVE THEM A TEST DRIVE.
I CLEAN APARTMENTS FOR A LIVING AND AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH ALL ELECTROLUX MODELS.
GOOD LUCK!
