4 beeps & 4 flashes mean problem with the power supply. For my experience, most of the time the PSU is good, it is just overloaded.

Please take a look at this link, and consider the possibility that your power supply has failed. Also helpful may be this article. If you take it in to them, a local computer tech can load test the power supply to determine if it is in fact at fault, and they are readily replaced for minimal cost.
Most likely your hard drive will have been spared, and your data secure, but this is the reason quality surge protectors are recommended for IT systems. No way to tell for sure until you power it up again and see if the hard drive spins up...
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

SOURCE: 5 Beeps with red light.
Well those beeps tells you that something is going wrong with the hardware. Could be the memory/processor or something going bad on the motherboard. Well you could try a few things (new memory/harddrive/removing all PCI cards except the video card) to try to isolate the problem. But you probably end up at the computer store where technicians can take a look at it. So I would go there first since it's probaly gonna take some time to figure it out anyway. Also try to remove anything you installed recently. Good luck!
