Question about Canon CanoScan 8400F Flatbed Scanner
I moved the scanner from one place on my desk to another, and unplugged the usb cable in the process. The next time I went to use it it wouldn't scan. I didn't do anything rough with it and I've restarted my mac several times since i re-plugged in the usb cable. When I try to preview it says that either i left in the protective sheet or the lamp is too cold ... i live in san francisco and i didn't put the protective sheet in... any ideas?
I have the same problem with my 8400f. I moved it across the room and am getting the same error message. I have reinstalled the driver several times. No go. I hooked the scanner up to a Mac that had never had the driver installed before and am getting the same message. I used the scanner successfully a month or so ago. Now nothing.
