SOURCE: time clock face doesn't move

make sure that you see the gears turning inside through the inspection port above and to the right of the dial. Make sure the dial is set to the proper time and that it pushed in to place when released. You pull the yellow dial toward you to set the time, if it does not go back (spring loaded), then there is a problem and you can try to seal the dial manually as sometimes the gears done line up. Also make sure the on/off trippers are not interfering with the dial going back into place.

SOURCE: I installed a new T104 m for my pool pump. The

You installed new 240Volt T104 Intermatic timer.
Cause of problem is not determined, so read information below and then add a comment with further observations.

According to question:
Timer is wired correctly.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html
The on-and-off trippers are installed on dial, but do NOT click the override lever back and forth.
Both ON and OFF trippers are on the dial.
And the timer is NEW and not used, and trippers are NEW and not used.
And the dial rotates and keeps good time, making 1 full rotation each 24 hours.
And the manual override lever works and turns load (pool pump) on-and-off.

Open following link to view photo image of OFF tripper coming in contact with manual override lever.
Trippers are soft metal, and made to wear down. When tripper gets old, it will slide over the lever instead of move the lever.

Open following link to read how to set timer, and see close-up images of timer with trippers on dial, and tripper order number for replacement trippers.

1996 caravan replaced fuel pump dont have power going to it ,, already checked and moved around the relays.. is there anything else i need to do?

you don`t say did you check the fuses.were the connections at the fuel pump plug in good/clean condition.have you check for power at the pump wires at the tank you do then you will have to check the pump wires at the pump if you don`t have power by the tank then you need to check to see if power is powering up the relay and going out of the relay to the pump.you could have a corrosion problem under the relay box.

I have a new pump and there was no power going into it. so i ccut the wires and want to run it to another power source. can i run it to the fuse box and it work the same? also since its fuel injected i...

did you check the fuse for the fuel pump you don`t say.there is also a fuel pump relay in the system.if you bypass the system then the ecm won`t have control for the pump, which controls the 2 second prime at the beginning when key turned on and it won`t shut off the pump in case of an accident when the engine stops.you can bypass it but its not recommended because this.if you do bypass make sure you have a 25amp fuse wired into the power wire and a on/off switch that you must remember to turn on and off every time you drive the car.

The on/off lever on my t103r has worn down , and the timer dial posts no longer switch it on and off . can i replace that part . thank you , Don Henrichsen / Sherman Oaks , California

I think trippers have worn down.
Tripper are made of softer metal than on-off lever.
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Timer-Tripper-2E054?Pid=search
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/timer-accessories/timers/electrical/ecatalog/N-8hi

That being said, if you have gone through several trippers and timer is old, then on-off lever can wear out.
Except for 125V clock motor and on-off trippers, there are no repair parts for T-103.
Buy new T103 and swap mechanisms without changing box.
That way you don't have to buy more expensive T-103R outdoor timer.
Mechanism snaps out with metal spring located at top inside box.

I purchased T-103 last week from Lowes.
Surprised that Lowes carried all 3 T-100 series timers:
T-101 125V with terminals A 1 2
T-103 125V with capability of controlling 120-or-240V circuits with terminals A 1 2 3 4
T-104 240V with terminals A 1 2 3 4

What is mileage to replace a timing belt on a 2004 Avalon

Typically any timing belt replacement interval is 60k-75k miles. The book will however tell you 90k. Now it depends on what engine your Avalon came with. The 3.0 is a non interference engine meaning if it does snap, it will not cause any damage to your engine. The 3.5L engine however i dont know if its a interference engine or not but i dont see anywhere where it says it is. As always suggested, change your water pump as well, as it runs off the timing belt. Once i didnt change the water pump and a week later it locked up on me and ruined my perfect new timing belt. Truth be told :) lol

The inline fuel pump fuse on the passenger side firewall is good? Are you jumping it with 12 volts at the test lead or the fuse?
