Its probally the way your configuring the way the print file is printing (IE: portrait or landscape) portrait is the top side being 8.5" or landscape being 11" wide on top! First make sure your printer has both landscape and portrait formats loaded into your printer. This will help the you by when you go to print you can try both trays to print to. If this is not your problem then its the way driver is configured and possibly try printing to a pdf file. If you cannot create a PDF from the application try finding some trial software that will enable you to create PDF files. If you can create a good PDF file and can then print that file to your printer you will have better results, because the software your using might not be configured to work with this printer. PDF files will work great and you can see the preview before you print. If you have more info like what exact software you are using and what platform(PC or mac) and repost this question i will get the update and i can answer this question better.
have you tried laying it out in Indesign or Quark and make sure there is no data on the side of the document that is there but you cannot see it. iv'e had that happen quite a few times as iv'e worked for 20 years in print shops doing everything from being manager to doing bindery and while in pre-press department iv'e encountered just about every type of wierd file imaginable. But there might be some unseen data so that the machine is trying to center the image even though there isnt anything there. I hope that works!

I've never had a problem like this before with any other files. But I don't think it's the files. i've tried the pdf, ai, eps, psd etc. I think it has something to do with the xerox machine's configuration or settings or something. I use both a mac and a PC. I run a print shop and is in constant use of this particular xerox machine because the color is the most accurate. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks!
