i hav acer laptop model travelMATE 2350,ITS USB not working ,wenever i insert usb ,a window is opening like,UNKNOWN DEVICE IS FOUND,below this dialog description is like this,windows cannot find your hardware properly

Check to see if the USB device you are attempting to connect works in a different system (preferably one that has never seen that device before, perhaps check with a friend)
If it works without issue on the other machine then check the acer website for driver updates.
If it does not work, you either need to install drivers for that device or you have a defective device.

- If you're running XP check out http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/data/7117/documents/TM2350_Chipset.zip and run the setup.exe file inside. If that doesn't fix it then odds are it's more hardware related.
