Well my revo 3.3 will start but shuts off as soon as i let off the throuttle :( what can i do to fix it

mcdevito75 here, there should be some sort of adjustment where the throttle meets the carburetor, make sure the end of the cable is resting on the throttle shaft. Also make sure the carburetor choke is either applied sloghtly or released (open) after warm up. You could see an appliance repair shop, of a Radio shack for help also.

Revo 3.3...engine doesnt stay on...

Could be a couple of things. Firstly the glow plug may need changing or youre running slightly rich. If you was replacing the glow plug you should retune the engine anyway. When the fuel is entering in the engine where the glow plug is theres either to much fuel and flooding plug out or the plug is not up to the job of burning the fuel. Replace plug and retune. You have had car for two years so guessing you know how to tune the engine.

Start truck and it runs backwards!!

check your remote, the three switches on the bottom.. they control the servo's. one controls the forward and backward servo. test em out. one is bound to turn the servo around.

i'm new to revos two but i just bought a couple and had the same problem with one of them, make sure your glow plug is ok or just replace it and adjust your high speed needle, i'm in oregon i had to richen mine about 1/4 turn. i also noticed both of the models i got were set differently from the factory. there's info on traxxas website on where the factory needle settings should be.

Traxxas Revo 3.3 engine cooling head

Remove the glow plug wire and there are just a few bolts that hold the head on. Just make sure you install the new head with the head shims like they were under the original head.
