Password problem i reset my admin password and then i tried to login using my new password but its says access denied.

This is almost as bad a lost password, because of the limitations.


Lost Windows password:

• Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode.
  
• Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  
• Reformat computer.
  
• Use 3rd party software to remove password. Like http://www.top-password.com/reset-windows-password.html GUI interface. There is a free boot CD called Hirens Hiren's BootCD. This one command prompt only.

First you can try the default username and password, both are "admin". If that doesn't work you'll need to reset the router. On the back there is a small hole with the reset button inside. Use something small like a pin or paperclip to push that reset button down. Hold it in for 30 seconds. This will reset all of the router settings. Then use the username and password "admin" to login.

The default D-link router login is admin with no password. With that said, you probably cannot login to your router because D-link requires you to change this default login the very first time you login to set it up. If you have a router you setup a long time ago and have forgotten its password and settings, you will likely have to reset D-link router password.

If you look at the back of your D-link router, you will see a pin-hole. Inside that hole is a button that resets the router. To perform the reset, insert the end of a paperclip in the hole and depress the button for about ten seconds. Leave the router on during this time. It will reboot by itself and the WAN light will begin flashing on the front.

When it stops, the router is reset and you can login to it using your web browser. Just type http://192.168.0.1 and click enter. You should see the D-link login window. Type admin without a password and you will be presented with the default d-link settings again. Configure a new password and wireless settings and your router will now be accessible again

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. If the SonicWALL's admin password is lost, there is no backdoor or other mechanism to bypass the administrator login. Please note that prefs files do not contain the admin name and password. So if you reset the firmware and import a current prefs file, you can gain access using the default login credentials ('admin' & 'password'). Are you sure you are connecting to your wireless router and not a neighbors wireless router by accident? Try connecting to your router using a ethernet cable and typing in its IP address. Your Netgear routers default IP address should be 192.168.x.x (gateway address).

open internet explorer and type 192.168.x.x and the will get u to the belkin router page and then click on mac address control and then type your password to get in to the router and it will take u to all the mac address u have allowed or denied.

Make sure you are using proper case as Password and password are different.

If still same, try to reset the router which will let it accept the username and password you are using. To reset press and hold the reset button (its a very small button) at the back of the router for 20 seconds.

use the console cable . By using this u can able to go inside the router and after going inside just give the respective IP and after giving the ip to the router u can access the router by using Internet Explorer .
