Where are you getting water that you don't want it I need a little more details so I can help you. Could be a clogged drain tube somewhere.

My fridge is leaking water from the top shelf down to the bottom and onto the floor

You most likely have a clogged defrost drain tube in the freezer, this diverts water through the damper into the fridge section in units with the freezer on top... Remove the back wall of the freezer and look beneath the tubing and you will see an ice pad... Use a turkey baster and warm water to reveal the drain hole, then force warm water down it until it is clear... Have some towels handy. Whirlpool Refrigerator Drain Strap 819043

Inglis refrigerator no water to ice cube tray

Had the same problem once. I'm assuming all of the water connections have been made properly.

Often the water line delivering the water will freeze just inside the freezer. .Pull the unit away from the wall and follow the line into the unit. Use a hair dryer to defrost the line.

Fridge not defrosting right water in bottom of freezer then turns to ice.

It sounds like the unit is defrosting, but the drain for the water from the melted ice is plugged. Check that before calling a repairman.

Can you tell me where my water pan is on my inglis defrosting fridge

There is a water pan or drain pan that holds the defrost water. After a while the heat dissapates the water so it should be dry.
It is located underneath the frig. Remove the grill on the front bottom and with a flashlight you should find it. Its either on the left or the right, since you did not provide the model number.

6 yr old side by side inglis fridge/freezer. water

can be from an obstruction (i.e. food or debris) or incomplete defrost. water forms around the drain during defrost cycle and ices up when cooling cycle comes on. defrost the drain and try installing a heat probe part#819043 made by whirlpool.its a metal rod that wraps around the heater and goes into the drain opening to prevent the drain from icing up. hope this helps.

Can you slowly increase the revs? It sounds like an accelerator pump or debris in the carb.

My Inglis Refrigerator doesn't make ice anymore,

Had the same problem. Chances are that the water has frozen in the supply tube, not allowing water into the maker. you will need to unplug and thaw out your fridge entirely to thaw it out. I used a hair dryer pointed at the filler tube to defrost it.
