My Whirlpool Quiet Partner II, Model #W10130986A makes a high-pitched squeal when filling, which varies in intensity when I turn the sink faucet off and on. What could this be caused by?

Sounds like a restricted water inlet valve on the dishwasher. Replacing the valve should solve it, if not there may be another issue with your house plumbing.

Water Laying in bottom of dishwasher

Usually there must be a filter screen in the dishwasher which can cause this to happen. It goes to the drain . If there is accumulation of food particles in the dishwasher filter screen then draining may be obstructed which can cause the water to be stranded at the bottom.

To exactly tell you where the filter is locate and how to clean it please specify the brand and model number of your dishwasher.Usually the filter is located at the back of the dishwasher near the drain. It is usually held in position by means of clips. You can just pop it out.Pour some hot water in the drain and clean the drain line also.

Not getting enough water flow into the dishwasher, suspect that a filter is clogged due to recent work on the waterline in the kitchen sink. Need to know where the filter might be located (on the...

You didn't specify a brand but most dishwashers don't have a water "filter." They may have an inlet screen at the water valve, which is typically located under the dishwasher. Generally, the lower front panel will have to be removed and you should then see the water lined connection to the unit. The front cover may have insulation behind it for sound deadening.

Be sure to turn off the water and power to the dishwasher working on the appliance.

Not rinsing properly

make sure the heating element is cleaned and use a cleaner for your machine. Also check your filter and clean it.Mostly it is due to clogged filter or dirty and cacked on heating coil.
Good luck.
Make also sure the rinse agent is filled.
