Question about Corel Draw Graphics Suite X6-En Upgd Hard Back Book / Mfr. no.: CDGSX6ENH
I have several hundred files created in multiple versions of Corel (most X5 & X6). Only a few have files have caused this problem. . When I try to open in X6 the file crashes the program. If I open the file in X5 - there is no problem. I saved the file down to V12 and when I try to open in X6 -Crash. Open the same file in X5 no problem. Just found this problem because I had to replace a computer.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Launch CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4. If you don't own the software, download and install a free 30-day trial from Corel.

Using a USB key is the worst thing you can do when you are video editing.
When you are editing video it is best to have the video clips on your main hard drive for the best Play back and rendering performance.
Video editing software doesn't actually change the original files, it just remembers what parts of the videos you want to use and then saves that memory in a project file, it does not save the video files. when you render the video it will make a new video file.
If you make any changes to the project files (Pictures and videos) in the project (e.g. name change, location, re-save) the video editing software will no longer be able to link the files back to the project and will then prompt you to re-link the files.
Also the performance of video editing software relies a lot on the data transfer speed. when you are using a USB drive you are cutting the performance down BIG time.
When you are using VideoStudio save all the files you are editing to the hard drive in one folder. when you are done and you want to transfer the project off, select File | Smart Package. What this will do is gather all of the project files and allow you to save to a USB drive and you can transfer the project to any other computer and open the project using VideoStudio without the relinking issue.

SOURCE: Corel Graphics Suite X3 will
This problem may start when a different workspace is selected or maybe whenever (by mistake) a new workspace has been created. You will need to load the default workspace. Press and hold down F8 on the keyboard once the Corel Draw is loading to open up. This will prompt you to select the default workspace. Select it and the program should work fine.
Let me know if you need further help..
Thanks for using FixYa.
