mag wiring is pretty straight forward, if the mag is working properly you just turn it off or on with the ignition switch. if need be track the wire to and from the mag to the switch. you haven't said what your problem is.

Sylvania 6842thg flat screen circuit board burnt at one of the resistors. How do I repair as opposed to replace? Thank you.

Good luck---Philips (who makes this) only has schematics etc available online to authorized service centers and unless parts needed can be replaced with generic parts they do not sell any individual parts---go shopping on the internet for the board--should have a number on it.

What are the schematics for wirinig an ignition for a 1991 300e mercedes benz? I am not sure what wire goes where when wiring my ignition

  1. The following fuses can cause the car not to start. Check and Replace fuses B, 5 and 6 and 7.
  2. Check the power to the neutral safety switch. When the ignition switch is activated there is no power to the neutral safety switch. Power to the neutral safety switch comes from the ignition switch on the violet wire. If there is no power at the violet wire when the key turns to start, the ignition switch is probably bad or there is a problem with the wiring to the switch.

I assume you need a wiring schematic for an M61. The circuit board schematics are proprietary and not available. The component schematics and interconnects for switches and wiring harnesses are available, as are the parts diagrams and drawings. Please clarify your specific need and issue.

No dash guages work .it will start but then stop running. tried new ignition switch , which did not work.

To fix the dash going out try this. This is a common problem with the voyager, caravans and Town & Countrys. What the problem is is a cold soder in the interment cluster itself. The problem area is where the plug comes from the van into the cluster. You need to take the circuit board out of the cluster and reheat the soder on the back side of the circuit board were the plug plugs into. This will fix the cold soder permanitly I think its about 16 pins you have to reheat with the soder gun. If you don't feel comfrotable doing that you can just replace the interment cluster and it will be fine but if you buy a used one make sure it was tested. Hope this helps I have done several of them.

maybe yes ,maybe not !!! my advice is don't use soldering iron more than 25 watts of heat it may cause your PCB board or other component burned.A solution to your problem just try to look cold soldering if available in your area or any major electronics shop. this will solve your problem
