Question about Toshiba Satellite Computers & Internet
All of a sudden my sound quality has changed so that anybody talking or singing sounds like Mickey Mouse. Help!
Have you tried another media player? Have you done ALL your Windows and Toshiba updates? Has there been ANY damage?

SOURCE: Lost Sound of My Toshiba Laptop
This is generally a driver glitch. Uninstall the sound drivers from the device manager, then reboot. The machine will find the sound card and reinstall the drivers automatically. This should bring your sound back.

Go to this website: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp# and find the download tab. Select your category and find the sound driver to download. Once it's download, install it and restart your computer to take effects.
NOTE: If the driver is incorrect, your PC will be at risk.
