Turn up front speaker channel without rem...

Have a Technics ca1080 seperates system.I am only getting a low audio output from the main front speakers but the three surround speaker channels are fine.The front channel has been turned down by remote,which I have not got.Can anyone tell me if there is some way of adjusting the the front channel without a remote.
