Intake Cold water filling into machine while turned off

You have either a faulty solenoid valve on the cold intake or you may have knocked some limescale into the valve while changing the pipes. Try some descaler in the valve first and operate a few times. Hope that makes sense!

Soloniod faulty

check the filters

at the intake the solinoids {water intake valves}
there is a small filter

you need to turn of the hot and cold water
like under the sink
take off both hozes hot and cold
then take out the filters at the machine intakes
and clean them
you can take out the filters
using flat nose plyers to gently pull them out
clean them out from brown crypto spyridion carcus
and other rubbish
you can leave the filters out and run thru the whole machine on like 30deg with a calgon tab
does help {not scotland no lime here }
then place the filters in the intakes again
or replace the valve if it leaks water after cleaning
then the spring in the valve of the valves solinoid coils isnt so good
and needs replaced
but can just be a blockage

above all if its a new machine you just got
perhaps it been in a low presure area so the valves will be
low presure hot and cold
usually its just the hot that is low presure

so you need to check the cold water is getting plenty on like 2 -3 bar presure...

FH error on display

An FH error usually means low water flow into the washer. This can be caused by debris in the filters between the intake hoses and the washer, closed water valves, low water pressure or a problem with the system that checks the water flow.

Some intake hoses when they detect a leak will seal themselves. So you may want to replace them. Shut off the water valves and remove the hoses from the washer. Check the filters for debris. With a bucket under the hoses, open the valves and check the rate of water flow. You may want to check the filters on the valve side of the intake hoses after turning the valves to off again. If water flows into the washer and then into the drain, reset the drain hose. The outlet of the hose should be above the water level in the washer. Otherwise, the water will suction out of the unit.

If these parts are fine and there is still no water flowing into the machine, the intake valve is faulty.

If you are getting the error when the washer is full of water, it's the pressure switch or the flow meter. In a few cases, the cause is actually damage to the air hoses connected to the pressure switch. If one of these thin tubes is leaking, the pressure switch will not work properly.

I hope this helps.

We have a reliance sta kleen 805 lp water heater that we installed used and it will not let us go through the start up procedure. i assume its in some kind of lock out mode, it does not respond to hot...

Used, Reliance 805 is power vent gas
10 year old water heater that is newly installed.
Unknown gas control valve.
I'm not a fan of installing old power vent water heaters.
Usually these things are so expensive that old one is only replaced when it fails.

120Volt Outlet must have correct polarity and unit must be grounded between ground prong on cord to manifold tube connected to bottom of gas control valve. Test for continuity with multimeter.

Is this an early FV model with air intake located on bottom?
If air intake is clogged with dust, then combustion chamber overheated and tripped FV system. The older heaters need replacement parts and new gas control valve, or entire heater must be replaced.

Replace gas control valve.

Water intake alert coming on however the water is turned on. No water seems to be entering the dishwasher.

No water intake, may be a defective intake hose valve. Miele calls it, the Waterproof System hose (WPS). However, first shut off your water valve to the dishwasher; disconnect the WPS; and inspect and clean the plastic filter. If the problem persists, then replace the WPS (~$170).

Water comming outof the smal air intake valve on top of tank

Check the shut-off valve on the tank to make sure it's shutting the water supply off as it should. If the tank has a mechanical arm(the flush lever), check it to see that it is allowing the shut off valve to completely shut the water off.

My Kenmore front loader will fill with 3 or 4 inches of water on it's own, when it is off and door is ajar??

Hi, possible your water intake valve are faulty, check back of machine where your( 2) intake water hoses are connected, shut water off, remove and clean water valve, it's possible you got high water pressure in you home (building) or your water valve maybe strain, or has a mechanical fault inside of it, you can remove back of machine, remove water solenoid valve, put valve apart and clean plunger, put valve together and see if same thing happened, if water still comes in after cleaning valve, you should replace it. before doing any repairs unplug machine, (disconnect power) good luck.

Hot water not flowing into agitator

There are two solenoids inside the valve one for the hot water side and one for the cold. They are under the metal part of the valve in the plastic housing. I don't think they sell them separately. If you can find a used one you can use it to rebuild it but most people just replace the whole valve. about 30 dollars.
