My cf-w7 hang after abt 15 mins

If this just started roll it back by with System Restore. Under Safe Mode (press F8 during boot and choose Safe Mode).

In Win 7 - Start > Start > Search type System Restore.

In XP - Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore. Now choose a date prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates.

There is the option of uninstalling last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode.

You also try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. In Startup tab, uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate.

My laptop is on but the screen is blue and won't go to the desktop

A Mac that shows you a blank blue screen instead of logging you in may be afflicted by a malfunctioning startup item. Most people have a number of programs that start up whenever you log into your computer, and it's likely that one of these programs is causing issues. The startup item is unable to load, and so it causes the rest of the computer to hang.
In order to get your Mac past this hanging blue screen, you need to boot into safe mode and figure out which startup item is causing problems. The Apple Support article "I see a blank blue screen when I try to start up my computer" tells you exactly how to go about this procedure. Basically, you must remove all your startup items and add them back in one-by-one, rebooting each time until you find the one that causes the hanging blue screen.

PC with windows xp professional , on booting , shuts down immediately everesince I uninstalled Nero Dvd writing programme

Reboot your PC and immediately start tapping the F8 key, then choose to start in safe mode. Now click the start button, then click run. Type MSCONFIG and choose startup programs and disable all startup programs and see if it boots ok. If it does you can retype msconfig and one at a time re-enable your startup programs until you find the one that makes your PC hang and reboot, Keep that one turned off after you find it, and re-enable the rest of your startup items.

Hangs on startup

Try booting in safe mode then run a chkdisk scan to see if it shows errors. To boot in safe mode power the computer completely down...wait a few seconds...when you power it back up keep tapping the F8 key on your keyboard. If done correctly a black advanced boot screen will appear with a choice to boot in safe mode. If you are able to boot in safe mode, it's likely that your hdd isn't the problem. It has to do with something in your startup programs. To disable some unwanted startup items Click Start--> RUN-> in the box type msconfig then click on the tab that says startup and uncheck any unwanted items. Reboot the machine and see if it boots regular.

Hp zx7000 laptop hangs on startup hp logo

Try starting it in safe mode. Instructions here:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial61.html

If it boots in safe mode, use msconfig to disable all startup items, then selective enable things one at a time until you find the program or driver that might be causing it to hang.

Instructions here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310560

If it will not boot into safe mode, you will probably need to try a repair install of Windows. You may want to consult a professional for that, depending on your skill level.
