Right away take it to a specialized service center.. moisture might be the cause of fungal growth..

If you want to do it yourself its a bit tricky and can actually damage your product.. It will be requiring opening of the elements..and cleaning them , drying them , etc.

Minimum which you can do.. Open the lens with the battery.. remove the battery immediately ... so that the lens is kept open.. place it inside a covered plastic or glass covered box.. with the lens facing upwards... keep the whole unit under the sun in the morning and keep it dry in side the room in night.. do it for 3 days... this will help you the dry out any moisture inside the lens..
Then take it out and of the box.. place the batteries inside the camera and the lens will automatically get inside when it starts again. Please do it , if you are sure enough .. or you can spoil it completely.

First thing if you got water in your camera, take out the battery, open the battery chamber, dry it with fan for a night or if you have silica gel, put in a lot of silica gel in a plastic bag with the camera inside it for a night, silica gel will absorb the water.

White Screen

Hi,

Normally there are two reasons for the given problem.

1). Bad or defective CCD. and/or

2). shutter not working.

in the first case the only solution is the replacement of the CCD.
Please click HERE

And in the later case sticking of shutter blade, non functioning of shutter blade will cause the problem. This can be rectified by sending it to some repairer.

I put a fresh new pack of film into my Fuji film instax 210 camera but only used it to take two pictures. The next day when I tried to take a picture, it came out completely white. Why is that? It is very...

Completely white photos on an Instax, or any instant camera means the film has been exposed somehow. Check to be sure the film door is completely closed, and latched properly. If it is, it's possible, though unlikely, that your camera's shutter is stuck open. It'd be easy to check, simply look at the front of your camera into the lens, and see if you see any mechanical bits, now take a picture and see if you see any of them move - movement means working, no movement means not. If the entire camera back opens (I'm not sure if it does) you can also open it and do the same thing, looking to see if you see light through the camera when you're looking through the lens but not taking a picture - if you do the lense is stuck open. This, however, would require removing and wasting whatever film is remaining in it right now.

Hi there. i have D7000 with 50mm F1.8D. what would be the best camera setting for in-house and outdoor photography?

That would depend on a lot of factors. Are you doing the outdoor photography in the day or at night? Are you doing the indoor photography in the day or at night? With just existing light or with aritificial light? What do you want the photos to say to the viewer?

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you want to take pictures for real estate sales purposes. If not, please reply to this post and say what you want the photos for.

Outdoors, I'd just put the camera into the Program (P) exposure mode. Since the house and shrubbery aren't going to be moving very fast, the autofocus setting doesn't matter much (just make sure it is set to one of the autofocus modes, not manual). Leave the white balance on auto.

Indoor, if there's enough daylight coming in through the windows, go with Program exposure, any autofocus, and auto white balance. If you have to use floodlights, set the white balance to match the floods. The camera's built-in flash won't evely illuminate a room (nearer stuff will be much brighter than the farther stuff), so don't use it. You can use an external flash with a diffuser or bounced off the ceiling or a wall.

This sounds like there is a problem with your camera's shutter mechanism and won't be resolved by changing your settings. You'll have to get your unit serviced by an authorized Canon service center. Hope this helps!

Canon powershot A470 problem when i click photo then white image come? but when i use it night it is normal. but during daylight or with sunlight.. white image appear....and every time i take a picture...

The shutter flex cable inside the lens is broken. Happens to all cameras from Canon A4xx series. At day the images will be overexposed with horizontal lines on it, but it could look better at dark / night. The FLEX has to be replaced. Canon doesn't supply new flex cables for these, but there are some cheap copies on ebay. But as these brake very often, I wouldn't suggest you investing money in this camera, because it will brake again sooner or later.

You have to know the MODE your camera is in. If you have it in the wrong mode you may not be able to take a photo in some conditions. You typically cannot take a photo of the moon on any auto setting the moon will be a white blob. The moon almost has to be taken manually.

I droped my camera and now it only take photos in the dark,

The ccd sensor must be broken, you'll probably need a new lens assembly. The repair cost will be halft of what the camera sells for. There is a service that specializes on small consumer level cameras like that : Camera Repair NYC
