Please can you tell me what this error message means on a Magicolour 5430DL
This is our school printer and was happily printing but stopped and then showed this message
Can you please tell us what it means and is it possible to fix it?
Locate the fuser unit and remove it. Clean off the connections on both the fuser unit and the printer itself. If this part seems bewildering, a good rule of thumb is "if it's metal and shiny, clean it."
Just blowing off the connections might work. But I recommend cleaning with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

I've never seen a message like that with the 0390H code. There is no mention of that code in either the user manual or service manual. The closest thing is the sc390 code, which means either the toner density sensor or the developer has gone bad, and typically replacing the PCU can fix that problem.
If the new PCU doesn't fix the problem, you might want to try calling Ricoh for support, since their documentation doesn't mention that code.
10.1000 Black e-label missing errorError message
10.1000 supply error

Reinstall
with a ? under the Black print cartridge gas gauge
Description
The black print cartridge or print cartridge e-label is missing.
Action
Install the black print cartridge.
NOTE:
If this error occurs upon
initial power-up on the printer, remove all cartridges to check for the
orange packing tape. If present, remove it before reinstalling the
toners.
The majority of the time that code means the print head has failed. That is a print head heater error. You can find some places that sell print heads for about $150 , you would have to google the model number for that. Xerox would charge $750 for a new print head, uninstalled.
I couldn't find the install disks so downloaded the driver from the Konica website, un-installed the software and re-installed it. After calibrating the colours everything seems fine now.
This is a common error code meaning that the printer does not understand a command. Redearch suggests that you try the following:
Be sure the printer does not go thru a power strip, but is plugged directly into the wall.
Check the printer cable, maybe swap it with another one.
Reseat the memory and formatter board.
Lengthen the power saver time to the maximum
Try printing from a different application
There have been cases where replacing the intermediate transfer belt has solved the problem.
Good luck!
Send it back. The printhead voltage is innnnn disorder. Netxt will be Error 41 (Every Error starting with 4 means probs with printhead and in 99,9% the head has to be changed and cant be fixed!)
