On a Honda GV100 lawnmower engine will start for about three secounds and stops, seems a fuel problem in the carb any ideas? Vic

You need to clean or rebuild your carburetor. If you're so inclined to do it yourself, there are many great videos on youtube. Here's a good one that shows a Tecumseh carb, but they are all basically the same once you get them off the machine. The problem I have with the Honda's is aligning all the parts and gasket when putting them back on. Here's the link and you can search for more. As I said, there are plenty of videos, and once you do one, successfully, you'll get the hang of it. Otherwise, take it to a professional for a good cleaning. Best of luck.
