Question about Televison & Video
Hi, i have a 42" nexus plasma TV and it wouldn't turn on, the light comes on but the screen won't, i opened it and found a burnt diode inside, i tried to look it up on Google and also went to radio shack to get a replacement but cannot find any, does it really have to be specific to get the right item, i mean do i need to match the code on the diode to get a new one? the burnt diode says "T57" and the board around it has a word that says "T5003" and "D5028" what kind of diode do i need to buy and where? please help asap, thank you!

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry.
If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service
technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.
