20 to 24 minutes?

A) Plenty of time for the Processor (CPU) to overheat, and turn off. (BIOS turns it off)

1) Heatsink fins clogged with 'Gunk'?
(Dirt, dust, lint, hair, old socks {No}, banana peels {No)

2) Processor fan, and computer case fans dirty?

3) PROPERLY replace the Thermal Paste.
Thermal Paste looses it's thermal conductivity properties over time, so don't think you can just stir it around a little bit, and everything will be fine. Properly clean, and use fresh, new Thermal Paste.

B) Check the Electrolytic Capacitors on the motherboard.

(IF used.
ECS motherboard?
Since they are budget motherboards, there is a good chance Radial Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are used, and very few, if none at all; Solid Polymer Capacitors)

Believe the problem to be more heat (Overheat) related, though.

LED TV has sound but no picture?

Sounds like it can be because of the faulty LED's. The LED is drawing over current for the power board that's why the fault arise again. There would be no fault in main board or the TCON board.

Omoron is not woking properly

Same problem on my Omron HEM-711. Manufactured in 2003, past the 5-yr warranty. Cust Suppt told me to replace unit. I opened the unit up and looked inside. Two very tight phillips screws, one on back panel, other in battery compartment. Case pries apart. LCD display looked intact, ribbon was undamaged. Unit appeared to work properly, just did not display correct reading, some of the liquid crystals in a few of the digits were not activating. I installed batteries with case still open, turned power on while pressing ribbon along edge of circuit board. Ribbon is manufactured with glue to circuit board, some of the leads come loose after several years due to manufacturing defect. In my case, pressing towards the bottom side corrected problem. You can see when it's working properly because all the display crystals light up simultaneously when unit is first powered up. I clamped down ribbon with two small paper clips insulated with a few bits of paper, works fine now, saved eighty bucks.

Hi my mother board is working but after 5 mintues it turn's off why its got 2.00gig of ram and anew power supply please help. Thank-You John

1. make sure that all motherboard fans are working especially the CPU fan. the motherboard shutsdown when it reaches a max temperature.
2. maybe your power supply is defective.
3. make sure that the CPU heatsink is properly seated in the processor

Intel destop board D845GLVA motherboard is not woking

These board tend to go bad but there are a few things to look at before jumping to that conclusion.

first look for the cmos jumper and cross the pin 2 and 3, press and hold the power button. unplug the unit and do it again to drain the power. replace the cmos jumper to its original state. plug in the system and then try to boot. if it works great then it was just a bios error that needed to be cleared. If not move on.

next you will want to remove everything from the board except the CPU/heatsink and power supply. this includes the memory. if it turns on and you get a bunch of beeps your problem is memory related. Try 1 stick of memory or if you only had 1 try another one from another system or spare. if this solves it good else move on.

Reseat the processor. remove the heatsink, then unlatch the processor and press down on it then relatch it. place heatsink back on. leave the memory out of the system and try it.

if all of this fails there is a good chance the board is damaged. If you remove the CPU from the board and the board does not turn on, then usually the cpu is working which says bad board is the likely problem

It would be useful to have more complete info about your system. Model, OS, RAM, etc. However, there are a few generic possible problems.

The power supply receptacle on the motherboard may be out of spec ... it does not secure the power connector properly.

You may have a software or driver conflict. Use some thing like Belarc (free at to get a list of software and driver versions for your computer. Check with each manufacturer's website to ensure that your OS version and level is listed in their "system requirements". If not either remove the software or driver or update it.
