What I found is that the "No Card" error presents when you are attempting to use a an SDXC card, which is apparently incompatible. Try using an SDHC card. This worked for me.

Just to be sure, it's an SD card (2GB or smaller) and not an SDHC card (4GB or larger)? If it's an SDHC card, is your card reader compatible with SDHC cards, or only with SD cards?
maybe because your phone don't recognize your SD card anymore. try to put your SD card to other phone and try if the other phone recognize your SD card, if the other phone don't recognize your SD card, the problem is in your SD card. you should buy a new SD card if that's the case. Your older camera can only work with 2GB or smaller standard SD cards. It is not capable of recognizing the newer format 4GB or higher SDHC cards. Fortunately, old format 2GB SD cards are relatively inexpensive these days, and may be purchased on Amazon if your local store no longer carries them.
You may be recording things that have inbuilt security. Some of the things you get on Sky or Cable have security programs built into them, so that they cannot be recorded. When you record them they either come up as a static picture, or the picture jumps around, or it has a line through it. It's usually pay per view items that have these problems.
Yes you need a new SD card, it is rare but happens where the SD card malfunctions and it is not read by the camera, it happened to me and I put in a new card and it worked find.
Make sure you're using an SD card, 2GB and smaller. The M537 won't work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
