Gas valve not opening and letting propane through. I have tested all the temp switches and air and water pressure switchs using the by pass method. Not 100% sure its the gas valve or the ignition mod. Its getting spark, fan is on, gas valve just isnt opening, Help?

Sounds like this is a flame sensor issue. It is not detecting the flame.

SOURCE: Hayward heater not working

You'll never get enough gas from a 20 pound tank. Even 100# tanks struggle to evaporate enough gas to keep up with that heater.

In the mean time, what is the output pressure on your regulator?

Try cleaning your filter if dirty there will not be enough flow to llet heater fire. If filters clean you can try jumping the pressure switch.

SOURCE: Hayward pool heater H100ID keeps blowing GFI

First, I don't see any heaters in my parts wired thru a GFCI. Why did you resolder inputs on board. Usually, those are not repairs that are acceptable. If the pins have shorted, then you need to replace the board. Could be a problem with the ignitor, but this might be one that you will need to call a pro in for. Did you install the heater yourself???

no.

Air energy electric pool heater shows low pressure, low temperature and will not turn on

low pressure will either be gas or water. technician with a manometer can check gas inlet and manifold pressure. ensure adequate water flow from pump. pressure switches generally close at 2psi. you can jump the pressure switch if you think its faulty, or use ohm meter and check continuity of pressure switch

Pool heater

If you have bubbles, you have a suction leak. That means the pump is pulling air into the system. Sometimes it's just the basket o-ring under the pump lid needs replacing. If the pump has run hot (without water) for a while, it may have caused shrinkage at the inlet to the pump. Unless it is underground, suction leaks are fairly easy and inexpensive to fix. Heaters will not work properly with air in the system.

My whirlpool washer stops and the water tap closed light comes on, plus on the time remaining FH comes on

the hot water tap has to be on aswell because it picks up the outside temperature and if its too cold it will ask for a squirt of hot water because the water has to be at a certain temp to react with the detergents properly just this model that does it

My refilled 60 # propane tank leaked and then stopped flowing.

Rick, if the tank is normally plumbed for a horizontal position, and you have it standing vertically, then you are feeding liquid propane to your pilot light, hence the frosted hose etc., and a tendency for the pilot light to go out as it has too rich of a fuel to burn. There should be no vent to allow air in as propane is pressurized, and only attains zero pressure at 40 below zero farenheit. The valve you speak of should have been the liquid vent valve which is used during filling only, and is closed during any other use. Your supply valve should be in the wide open position. The pressure relief valve is only operational when the tank has been overfilled or overheated. You should have a pressure regulator between the tank and the appliance you are trying operate. Hope this helped. Marvin

Get an fh error after the washing cycle but once paused and restr. cycle it completes teh cycle what could be the cause

FH_ This will occur when No water is detected entering the machine or The pressure switch trip not detected.

If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine, the valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.
OR
If the control has turned the water valves on, and after 8 minutes, the flow sensor has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it, but has not detected the pressure switch trip, the valves will be turned off, and the error code will flash.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

Possible Causes / Procedure

• If there is no water in the unit:
- Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
- Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves.
- Verify inlet valve operation.

• If there is water in the unit:
- Verify drain pump operation.
- Verify that the pressure switch hose is in good condition and properly connected to tub
and pressure switch.

1. Verify there is not a siphon problem.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure switch, drain pump, flow meter,
and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check all hoses for possible leaks.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Verify pressure switch operation.
7. Verify flow meter operation by blowing air through the part and measuring the resistance.
8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle.

Replace failed component.(Which will be the CCU, if the pressure switch and hose are operational. Follow the procedure below to confirm optimal pressure switch functions)

The water level switch(aka pressure switch), is responsible for regulating the water fill level in this situation. It does this through a plastic tube which runs from the switch in the control console down to the side of the outer tub, near the bottom . The tube is filled with air. As water enters the tub it also enters the tube. As water climbs inside the tube, it pushes on the air trapped inside and increases the air pressure. When the air pressure reaches a certain level, it triggers the switch.

I would advise to Inspect the air tube for kinks, breaks or damage. The tube should also be free of water. The tubing should be securely connected to the bottom of the outer tub and to the bottom of the water level switch. If there is water present, the switch must be replaced.

The water level switch has three connectors. Label and disconnect the wires from the switch. Test the switch for continuity using a multimeter. Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X1. It will be necessary to test each of the three possible pairs. replace the switch if it fails the continuity test.
