The Cameleon, Frog and Gecko all use the same parts inside the hubs. Most common problem is the locking rods fail (little aluminum dog leg shaped thingies). You may want to check that the adjustable strap at the bottom front of the carrier is at the proper position for the height and weight of your child. She shouldn't be slouching in the carrier. The carrier is designed for the legs to be slightly spread apart or 'frog legged' but she shouldn't be in a 90 degreee stradle.
