Question about Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z60 Digital Camera
I just purchased the z60 around a year ago and after using it the other day, i went to turn it on. it made some noises and i got a screen that says "retry power on", and then it turns off. i try to turn it on again and either it says lens error or the screen is just black for a couple of seconds and then it turns off. is there anything i can do or does this have to be sent to casio?? also, am i better off sending it back to be repaired or possibly replaced or just going to the store and buying a new camera, preferably something different seeing as how there have been numerous problems with this camera. i dont know if there will be any cost in the repair and whatnot. and if im better off getting a different one, which camera do u recommend for under $200? thanks to whoever can help me!!
Does the camera was dropped done ? It sound like a zooming mechanism's issue (lens would not retract or extended) Try to press the power button on and hold it down while extending and twisting the telescopic zoom lens. It might fix your problem. In any case it could not make it worse Good luck!
