I don't know to connect Logitech speaker to my computer.

Plug the green stereo cable to your PC (Green port on PC too)
Connect the black connector (Round shape) to the back of the sub-woofer (big box)
Play music on your PC, should work like a charm...

Hopefully you have already tested the PC to work fine and produce sound. Else you will need to t/s the PC to fix it...

if the PC is probably broken / port is broken - you can connect your iPOD or other music player's green port too - will work just fine!

X-540 speakers no sound

to philipyork: the speakers never will be detected in your pc, the hardware (plug and play) is the only detected for the computer, if u have a message saying no device sound then will be the audio card.

to rocker: check the cable, the volume in the pc.

Check if the male and female plugs are not defective. Try using a working speaker in another computer. Or try your speaker in another computer.

Its most likely a settings problem or drivers missing maybe?

Hardly any need to buy a new port for speakers, unless its really broken.

try the speakers on another pc if they work fine there then its a problem in your pc, sound settings or drivers.

Check device manager
right click my computer select manage.
on the left side select device manager

note any yellow ! marks on sound devices or unknown devices.

Speakers

Most speakers are 'Dumb' devices that means there isn't any information exchange between them and your PC. Other than your PC providing the source sound for your speakers to play.
Some sound cards can detect that speakers or a microphone are plugged in but not what type.

Possibly your sound card on your PC is not working or you have the speakers plugged into the wrong sockets.
