Question about Mitel Super Console 1000 for SX-200ML, SX-200 LIGHT and SX-2000LIGHT

Mitel Super Console 1000 Frozen

SO at the hotel our mitel is currently frozen when calls come thought it rings and the light goes on but the answer button does nothing. As well as the function button and every other button on the thing.

Yes, there are things you can do to clear the locked out phone.
~ The locked means something is wrong with the phone -or- wiring to the room from the Mitel system...

Locked out is like leaving your phone off hook too long, you get that irratating beeping noise, then when the beeping stops, the phone is locked out to save power going to the set.

Ok ~ the first thing I would try, go to the set and play with it, hang everything up and test to see if you can get dial tone... the next thing is change out the telephone set, and test.

If you changed out the telephone set, and there is still a trouble, there maybe a wiring issue, in which case you will require a cable tech to test connectivity...

Do you know if this is on an SX2000 or SX200? If it's on an SX2000, it is a software glitch and requires upgrade to the latest software. As a work-around, you can de-program and re-program the console. It should clear the problem for a while.

How do I change the date and time on a Mitel Superset 4025 phone system?


The time has to be changed in the programming interface of the phone system itself. You cannot change the time from any set other than a 4150 or a super console 1000. These sets can only be used to change the time on a mitel sx200 or icp. This does not work on the 3300.

Random Calls from Nobody "trunk 30 calls"


This might be due to fact of Trasnferring calls. I assume that you have at least 30 numbers to your hotel, meaning that you at least have 30 trunks. When you transfer a call, and if there is no answer at where it is transferred, it will ring on your side, but will not let you answer the call. It is a notification pretty much that there is a call in waiting.
To solve this, simply untransfer your cals for that trunk and it will be okay, I hoep that fixes it.
If you need help with untransferring, here:
1. Press Function Key
2. Enter ATT Function which is F2 on our own
3. Press Trunks which is F5 on ours
4.Enter 30 for (trunk 30)
5. Press ATT Access which is F3 for ours and wait for dial tone
6. Dial *730 and then hang up after the fast beep.
Depending on the system and distributor, ti might vary slightly.

Attendant Directed Call Pickup
Description
The attendant can perform a directed call pickup from the console. This will permit calls to be retrieved before the recall timer expires or if calls have been transferred to the wrong extension.
Conditions
None.
Programming
Assign an access code to Feature 09 (Directed Call Pickup).
Enable COS Option 218 (Directed Call Pickup).
Operation
• Dial the Directed Call Pickup code.
• Dial the extension number of the ringing telephone - the call is connected.

Mitel Superconsole 1000 switchboard in a hotel. Shows 1 call waiting and the phone is ringing. Unfortunately, that is not a "real" and if you press the answer key there is no way to answer this...

Won't go to Voicemail


You will need your system administrator to change the call reroute assignment of your phone, or you have call forwarding active to a location the system can not route a call to. Either scenario your phone administrator can resolve quite easily.

Too many rings on 4025 Superset


You will need the Mitel system programmer to change the Class Of Service of your set, this will change the number of rings before it goes to Voicemail.

Unfortunately, unless you know how to get into the system or have an administrator onsite that has rights to the Mitel system, a Mitel Specialist will be required to make this change.

You can switch to "night" mode on the console and the incoming calls should ring on the cordless. try it.

We have the same problem at our hotel.
You can't fix it at the console, you need to go to the room and unplug the guest's phone from the wall for 10 seconds... reconnect and it is fixed.
