Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

Kenmore front load washer not working after a power failure

Hi, After a power failure the energy was reestablished but the washer did not start. I change to another outlet but didn't work. The line has energy and there is continuity in the washer cables and controls (timer). There is no burned cables. So, what else could be? Hope to get some solution to verify. Thanks,

I tripped a circuit breaker but a reset didn't resolve power to the outlets. I replaced cgi outlet hoping that would resolve the issue but it didn't. What is the problem and/or issue? Can&#

I believe you are referring to a GFCI receptacle. Did
you have power at the GFCI Location? If so, make sure
you wire the line and load portion of the GFCI unit properly.

My hp f4280 printer don't have power to on.

hi misssim31, if the printer is not turning on..there might be a possibility that the power module is already faulty. if the power module light is lit up (the green light on it) try to plug the cord into different wall outlet and if it didn't worked..change the power cord and the module..and still if it didn't worked then the port on the back of the printer where you plugged the power cord is no longer working.
if you have any further question..dont hesitate to reply..
thanks

Water doesnt drain

hi friend,

Instructions
  1. Step 1 Check and make sure that the washer is plugged in. I know that sounds stupid, but washers move and it has happened before.
  2. Step 2 Check and see if the washer works during the rinse cycle. if the motor moves then skip to step 3 If the motor does not turn then you need to test the power outlet. use a small hand held appliance like a hand mixer to make sure the outlet has power. If the outlet has no power you need to check your breakers. If the outlet has power you need to call a repairman for your washer.
  3. Step 3 Good news because your washer works on the rinse cycle your problem may not be that severe. First check to make sure your lid switch is working. The lid switch is a safety device that ensures that the lid is closed before the machine will begin the spin cycle. to check the lid switch simply close and open the lid several times. each time you close the lid you should here a distinctive click. if there is no click then you need to replace the lid switch. if the is a click continue to step 4
  4. Step 4 Ok you have power and you lid switch is working that means you have one of two things going on. 1. you have clog in the line or 2. your pump is burnt out. To check for a clog start at the back of the washer and remove the drain hose. Be ready for water! It may come pouring out. if water does come pouring out then you need to check the drain hose for a clog. If there is no clog in the drain hose then you have a bad pump and it will have to be replaced. If water does not come out when you remove the drain hose then you have a clog. the clog is either in the pump or in the upper hose that runs from the tank to pump.
Tips & Warnings
  • make sure to unplug the washer before disassembling. water and electricity don't play well together
thank u for using fixya

My machine doesn't wash

Hi twiggytrois,

You say,the wash doesn't start

Check the breaker that it is on and supplying power.
Check the outlet that it is getting power.
You can do this by putting an electric tester to the outlet or if it is a regular house hold outlet then you can try to check the supply with a lamp or cell phone charger to see that the outlet is good!

If these procedures do not find the problem you will need hands on service!

If the appliance is 10 years old or more you may not be advisable to
put good money into bad! New appliances are so much more efficient today
that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!!
You need a hands on tech for this repair!

You will be fine
Bless You huuum
