Question about Fusion MS-AV700 Marine DVD/CD/AM/FM/Sirius/VHfor WX/USB/AUX Stereo

Open Question

Not communicating with speakers

Installed new MS-AV700. Unit not recognizing speakers. Connected as manual instructed (4) Fusion MS-FR402 located within 3' of head unit. Using Zone 1&2 connections with White, Gray, Green & Purple wires as instructed. Unit powers on as designed and indicates proper signal strength for FM/AM reception. Nothing from speakers, not even white noise.

SOURCE: i have a fusion sub and amp and have no

Hello nicole_murra,

The green wires are for signal input to the included amp and should be connected to a pair of RCA preamp outputs on your head unit. The thin blue wire connects from "remote" on the amp to a switched 12V output on the head unit (usually blue or blue/white). The red wire is for power and goes through the fuse to positive battery. You also need to connect the amp terminal marked "ground" to the metallic chassis of your vehicle, within a distance of about 1/2 meter or less. There's usually a short piece of wire with black insulation included in most amp wiring kits. If your Fusion sub did not come with such a wire, you can use any wire that is the same gauge (or bigger) than the red power wire.

Hope this helps.

It's possible you have a bad data wire on one of the systems. Swap the data wire or both if two with a different wire. (1&4--2&3) whatever. Whatever you do inside obviously do outside. Might have extra resistamce that is throwing the error but will be fine for a ground wire.Or do one system at a time, being sure to change your dip switch settings until you figure out the problem unit. Good Luck!!

Do I need a amp for Fusion MS-BX402 speakers

the reason for running an amp is becauze ur running your volume so loud you are getting distortion. Btw, its the distortion that damages speakers. If your happy with the sound then you dont need an amp. If your running your radio "full tilt" to get your sound, think about adding some power.

I cannot get any sound out of new Aopen MS-230 speakers. I connected with a USB to my desktop but nosound????

Ok Did you have sound on your previous speakers, if not, check your hardware manager and make sure you have the driver installed. You can check by going to open your volume control in the asseries from your start button.

Uninstall and reinstall the driver.

you go to device manager ->sound card-> right lick uninstall -> refresh-> it should auto find and install.

Good luck let me know whats up

My archos av700 has a dark screen

Managed to resolve my dark screen issue. It is a little weird and not sure which combination actually got it going but it works. I firstly connected the TV POD unit to the AV700 and used the remote and no joy. With the TV POD unit still connected, I fiddled with the battery latch switch a few times and VOILA! - the screen came back to life and all is now good.
I hope it is as easy as that for all of you....

Is a new installation needed?

The quickcam software is about 5-7mb, the fusion is about 11-15mb.

Fusion for Vista supports 30 frames per second (4X faster than a quick cam)

goto this link and download upgrades etc, choose the OS etc.
