If this is question, you need to have the speakers fed from a cross over network. This does several things. The most important is that it does not send the loud powerful signals to the tweeters, They cannot handle it. Also if you dont use a cross over network and the whole spectrum of audio goes to the woofer, it sounds bad.

Have 2 jbl 615 get good base and sub but neither tweeter playing

You will need to determine if it's the amplifiers or the tweeter themselves that are not working. If you open up the cabinets and check each tweeter with an ohm meter for continuity it will show if the tweeters are working, in which case the amp is the problem. if the meter shows that the tweeters are blown, you should still hook up another tweeter or speaker to the horn amp to see if it's blown and therefor took out the tweeters.
If any of this sounds complicated, you'd be best off taking the cabinets to the repair shop.

The tweeters are not working

The crossover caps may have failed, or the tweeters themselves burned out. Using a small 1.5 volt cell touched across the tweeter leads should produce a sound. If not- they are burned out.

I installed a brand new tweeter in my JBL EON 15 G2 & the new tweeter blew. What else could be the problem?

These are "powered" speakers and any little bit
of distortion can be amplified enough to "blow" it!
Also the amp could be "shorted"! Have your JBL
dealer test it!!!

FYI - I just took our 2004 Sequoia in because of speaker rattle coming from the front door speakers. Before I could tell them the problem, they guessed what it was. They see loads of Sequoias and Tundras with JBL systems due to the front door 8in speaker, basically, coming apart. His suggestion was to replace only the bottom 8in speaker, because the top tweeters usually are in good working condition. There is a minimal failure rate on the tweeters.

Eon 15-g2 upper part of my jbl is getting hot

The tweeter is not the problem. The Eons use the vents below the tweeter to cool the amp and woofer. Sounds to me like you have a power supply problem in the amp, possibly a bad capacitor or diode. You have to check the amp for proper operation.
