How to repair lighter

Hi jewel, your lighter has 3 parts, fuse in fuse box, always check this first,if good then second part to check is the lighter itself,if you can, remove and try in another vehicles lighter outlet. If it works then lighter outlet at dash is bad,try another lighter in your outlet. You can buy new parts at Autozone,if you need to remove part from dash, remove fuse,there\'s a clip on other side of lighter at dash, you will have to remove clip to remove lighter part.Cut wire, but leave yourself plenty to tie in new lighter, use blue butt connectors and a crimp tool.
