Problem for HP iPAQ hx2410 Pocket PC

HP iPAQ hx2410 switches off during recharge

When I put the charge cable to the slot it doesn't charge at all, but when I tilt the cable a little it starts to charge but it will stop when I let the cable go. Also, the device won't switch on even when I press the on/off button, except when the device is being charged, those 2-3 minutes while I hold the cord. It looks like it is loosing power somehow.
