Trying to remove an old t87f2873 with heat-cool subbase from wall. which screws do you loosen to do this.

There should be three small slotted screws at 9 o'clock, 2 and 5. This will remove the thermostat. There will be two screws holding the subbase on the wall.

What is easy way to replace the thermostate in

Hi, that thermostat should be a wall mount. This heater has only 2 wires and any "Heat only", "millivolt" thermostat will work. Remove the old T-Stat and mount the new one on the wall, only 2 wires and less than a volt so no shock danger, doesn't even matter which wire goes where. Good luck and comment back if you need any help.

Programmable thermostat

I am unsure of your question, but if you are just replacing your old thermostat with a new one, then connect the red wire to the Rh or R terminal and the white wire to the W terminal on the thermostat. Hope this helps

There are either 2 or 3 small screws which hold the thermostat to the wall plate.
Remove these and the thermostat will come off to reveal the wall plate with the wiring connections.

Replacing a non-programable thermostat for electric baseboard heater with model CT410B. This is a 4 wire thermostat replacement for a previous 2 wire. Directions indicate that I can do this. I connect...

If you take thermostrat back off and connect the wires together will baseboard heater get hot. If not you may have bad heater. If it gets hot your new tstat may be bad. The way you have it wired is correct. Most line voltage tstats have a ground screw. Your 's may not but will work without one .

How do i uninstall my old honeywell mercury thermostat

There are three parts to a T87F thermostat. Outer ring, thermostat body, and base mount. Remove the snap on ring that goes around the dial. Remove three screws from the thermostat that mount it to its base. Remove the thermostat. Disconnect and record what screws each wire attaches to. Remove the screws holding the base to the wall.
